In the past I've always chosen either a CM, thermaltake, or antec case and have had very mixed results among the three; some good and some, well, not so. When I first saw the 800D I was very impressed, but the size and price were both on the large end of the range. Intelligently, Corsair produced the 650D for those of us that don't have room for a massive case and don't want to afford a high price but still want all of the features a top of the line case (like the 800D) has to offer.
First off, this case is simple and understated. No flashy lights or strange graphics are found anywhere on or in this case which is refreshing since most of the garbage on the market is lite up like a state penitentiary. The sides top bottom and back are made from fairly study steel, while the front is brushed aluminum which is mounted on plastic. (the plastic is not viewable from the outside and is quite thick and study). The window on the side is nice and study and doesn't look horrendously...
