These 77 cartridges hold SO much more ink!
I have an Epson R-380 High Definition Printer that use Claria inks. The printer ships with the 78 cartridges and provided excellent results but were short lived. Then I discovered the 77 high capacity cartridges on the Epson website and found that they held a full 60% more ink. Now these cartridges are available on Amazon and I would highly recommend them.
Certainly they are more expensive but you'll have the luxury of more ink and you'll end up spending less on inks in the long run. You'll still find that the yellow and light magenta seem to be used the most. The ability to replace 6 completely separate ink cartridges as you need them is a very nice thing. I have a professional HP 8700 and love the results but all the 7 inks are contained in 3 cartridges and when just one of the inks in the cartridges is empty, you have to replace the whole cartridge with some inks remaining that you must recycle or toss. You never know how much ink you're throwing away...
