Wouldn't Post XMP 2400Mhz Profile for Me.
I paired this RAM with a brand new 3rd gen. Intel i7-3770s processor on an Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe/WD motherboard first with Bios 304 and then later flashed to the most recent, I think it was 706 or something. I can't recall the number, but it is the most recent update. This RAM would not successfully overclock to 2400Mhz using XMP Profile 1. It did post with Profile 2 @ 2133Mhz, however. I'm okay with this speed as I believe it may be due to me running with a locked CPU. I chose my CPU to run in a mini-ITX case with a mere 450 watt PSU rated at 80+ Gold proficiency.
The RAM looks great and performs well enough for me; I mainly reviewed the product to let possible customers know that if they choose similar parts to the aforementioned, it may not run at the rated speed.
Also, they are taller than some sticks, but I use a Corsair H50, so I didn't need to worry about clearance for a fan cooler.
