AMD Quad Core A10-Series APU for Desktops A10-6800K with Radeon HD 8670D (AD680KWOHLBOX) - Check it Out

What a joke.
AMD must be joking.

For the unaware, with AMD's current architecture, they give each core twice the integer units, and call it two cores. As such, to get the real core count, divide it by two.

This thing is slower than an i3, uses like 4 times the power, and the iGPU isn't even that good. Seriously, Intel's Iris Pro 5200 is faster. 14553 for Intel on 3DMark06 vs 11935 in 3DMark06 for this.

Plus, the power consumption and heat generation of this thing is horrible.

AMD, are you even trying?

Customer review : Beats Haswell's iGPU!
I previously had a 5800K in my HTCP and I was more than satisfied with its performance but now I have the 6800K in my HTPC that I use to watch movies and do some light gaming and it works like charm. It handles everything I throw at it without a hassle. Since the 6800K supports memory speeds of 2133Mhz, system memory speeds are important because both the CPU and GPU share the same memory interface and this is very improvement if you are a gamer because it can boost your FPS quiet a lot. I noticed a smoothness when playing games coming from the 5800K that ran at 1600Mhz.

The stock frequency of the CPU is 4.1Ghz (1.4 volts) but it has a nice turbo of 4.4Ghz which is great. And the stock frequency of the GPU is 844Mhz (1.25 volts). The stock settings are more than enough to handle anything but I have mine overclocked to 4.8Ghz and it flies. It runs relatively cool with the stock cooler without needing to upgrade to an aftermarket cooler. I even tried overclocking it to 5Ghz...
